Ronhill raises £3315.50 for local Cheshire based charity The Childrens Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT).
The funds were raised in three ways over the course of 2018.
First off were 18 colleagues and friends who ran the Manchester 10K back in May, when the sun was shining and the air was hot. The second fund raising drive was through an internal ‘tuck shop’ where staff members are able to make a donation in exchange for a mid afternoon snack. Finally to the frozen end to the year, the Outdoor & Sports Company (parent company of Ronhill) Christmas raffle added a further £523 towards the overall total.
On Friday 14th December 5 team members spent the day volunteering at the farm for one of the local school trips. The Charity organizes a Christmas day of a lifetime for local unprivileged and less able children. The day includes activities, a Christmas dinner, a meeting with Santa who was handing out gifts and chance to meet his special helpers.
Graham Richards commented “‘I am just so pleased that we can support such a worthwhile and great charity. CAFT offers such tremendous support for children with a variety of medical and social issues and to be a little part of that is so rewarding”
