Ronhill, Hilly and Altra announced as Official Sports Brand Partners of The Running Festival at Goodwood 2018.

UK Run Events, the events channel of #UKRunChat and organisers of The Running Festival at Goodwood, have announced that Ronhill, Hilly and Altra will be the Official Sports Brand Partners for the event on Sunday 14th October 2018.

This unique three-brand approach will come as welcome news for runners gearing up to take on the 10K, Half Marathon and Family Lap at the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit this autumn.

The three brands will take over one of the event’s Pop Up Pit Shops to showcase their latest products, and they will be supported by the Official Sports Retail Partner for UK Run Events, Up & Running. The specialist running retailer will be selling footwear, apparel, accessories and nutrition for runners on the day, with a team of friendly staff offering expert advice.

All 10K and half marathon finishers will receive a technical Ronhill race souvenir t-shirt, and the pacers will be supported with head to toe kit from Ronhill, Hilly and Altra.

It has also been confirmed that The Running Festival at Goodwood will be an integral part of Ronhill’s #RunEveryDay October challenge. Runners will not only be able to celebrate the halfway point of their run streak challenge at the event but taking part in one of the races will also count towards their challenge achievement.

It is of great credit to UK Run Events to have secured such a strong line-up of partners for the inaugural Running Festival at Goodwood. The event is set to become one of the most iconic events in the UK race calendar and hundreds of places have already been snapped up by runners wanting to experience the picturesque and thrilling setting of this classic race circuit. With a choice of three race distances, it promises to be a celebratory day of running for all ages and abilities, and a glorious end-of-season event for the entire running community.

Oliver Carter, Marketing Manager at Ronhill, Hilly and Altra said: “Being involved with The Running Festival at Goodwood is a fantastic opportunity for Ronhill, Hilly and Altra, and this three-brand approach is very unique. We are also looking forward to celebrating with all the runners taking part in Ronhill’s #RunEveryDay October challenge, and to meeting everyone at the event.”

Rebecca Richardson of UK Run Events commented, “We are thrilled to announce Ronhill, Hilly and Altra as Official Sports Brand Partners for The Running Festival at Goodwood, and to be one of the first running races bringing the three brands together in one event for everyone to experience. The brands will be supported by our Official Sports Retail Partner Up & Running to deliver the very best race experience for our runners and help them to achieve their goals. We look forward to enjoying a superb day of sport this autumn!”

Joe Williams, Race Director of UK Run Events added, “We are proud to be connected to Ronhill’s #RunEveryDay challenge, which is inspired by the iconic Ron Hill himself. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to run with us on 14th October and to making it a weekend to remember as part of your #RunEveryDay in October”.
