
The brand supported a team running in the Abersoch Half Marathon for The Edwina Lilley Charitable Trust, which was set up in memory of the restaurant and hospitality business entrepreneur, who died suddenly a year ago.
The charity provides funding and expertise to those working to eradicate child malnutrition in the UK.
Graham Richards, Ronhill’s brand director, says: “I was very pleased we could be associated with the charity, especially as Edwina was my cousin.
“A team of 18 ran the race and raised thousands of pounds, which was a fantastic boost to this new charity.”
Budapest Marathon Relay
Ronhill recently had a team competing in the Budapest Marathon Relay.
The team of four, which included running legend Dr Ron Hill, MBE and three members of staff from Ronhill Hungary, the company’s distributor, finished a credible 52nd out of several thousand teams.
