SAFEJAWZ to be official mouthguard partner of International Mixed Martial Arts Federation

The brand will be providing a custom mouthguard fitting service and souvenir products for the 2016 IMMAF European Championships of Amateur MMA in Birmingham.

SAFEJAWZ also becomes the official IMMAF mouthguard range, with its products produced under IMMAF licence.

Ewan Jones of Protective Sportswear, which owns SAFEJAWZ, says: “As a company, we are passionate about improving the safety of all combat athletes, so a partnership with the IMMAF, which is helping to legitimize MMA around the world and leading the charge for appropriate regulation, makes sense.

“This relationship will give the IMMAF the peace of mind of knowing amateur athletes have access to the best protection available, while providing SAFEJAWZ products with a stamp of affiliation that will give confidence to consumers and retailers.”

IMMAF president Kerrith Brown says: “SAFEJAWZ shares IMMAF’s values in promoting safety in MMA through its application of dental expertise
and innovation to athlete protective wear.

“The company has also long been a valued supporter of MMA athletes at a grass roots level through sponsorship and covering athletes’ medical expenses.

“We are pleased to affiliate with such a brand that puts athlete safety and development first.”
