Salming has signed a four year deal with the European Handball Federation.
The arrangement with the EHF, and it´s marketing arm, EHF Marketing GmbH, and Salming makes the Swedish handball brand an Official Partner to the EHF Champions League and all EHF Cup in terms of apparel and shoes, as well as exclusive merchandise rights.
Salming will also equip all referees and officials with shoes and apparel.
Jean Brihault, President of the EHF, said: “We’re delighted to be able to welcome Salming as a new EHF partner through to 2020.
“The cooperation has already brought with it a new, bright and distinctive look for our top referees and we’re looking forward to working closely together on further product development and the expansion of the federation’s merchandising ranges.”
Salming is the new kid on the handball block and their momentum that has been building up the past three to five years and already supplies German DKB-Handball-Bundesliga men’s teams like MT Melsungen, Bergischer HC, TBV Lemgo and SCDHfK Leipzig.
