
Ex Wales Rugby Union and British & Irish Lions Captain, Sam Warburton has backed a partnership between Hytro, the first Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) wearable designed specifically to improve sports performance and SW7 Academy, the rugby coaching and training programme.
As part of the partnership, Sam Warburton has been named as an official Performance Advisor and Investor.
Proven to accelerate recovery and improve muscle development and endurance, Hytro has been working closely with a wide range of professional rugby teams and athletes to improve sports performance. Sam Warburton, the former Wales and British and Irish Lions captain, will be working with Hytro to help deliver the game-changing BFR products to the elite and amateur rugby sphere through his work with the SW7 Academy.
As part of the deal, Hytro will be providing their unique BFR wearables to Warburton’s SW7 Academy in an effort to assist them in providing elite level strength and conditioning to their members. The SW7 Academy, set up by Sam Warburton following his retirement from professional rugby in 2019 specialises in offering unrivalled coaching and playing experiences through their subscription app with a mission to build users into the best possible athlete they can be.
