Science in Sport (SiS) fuelled more athletes than ever before to win 34 medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics, in Great Britain’s most successful overseas games to date.
The victorious GB Rowing Team, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish and Chris Froome were among the elite community who called upon the expertise of the sports nutrition pioneers to optimise their performance on the world stage.
The athlete led company, trusted by the Olympians,has an evolved certification on the Informed Sport programme which provides athletes full reassurance that they will be performing clean.
Sir Bradley Wiggins, who became Britain’s most decorated Olympian at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, said: “When competing on a world stage at the Olympics, you are always looking for a marginal gain to edge your competitors. Nutrition is key to optimising performance and aiding recovery.”
