Stefano Taboga is the new head of Lotto’s communication and marketing as well as their digital sales division
Taboga, from Friuli, in the north-east of Italy, and a graduate in public relations at the IULM University, Milan, comes to Lotto from the Luxottica Group, where he was Global Digital and Omnichannel Director of the Sunglass Hut brand.
From 2008 to 2014 he was head of Digital Marketing at Diesel and before that gained experience at Genertel (Generali insurance group), Wolters Kluver and Lycos.
He will report directly to company President Andrea Tomat, leading the Lotto group in the areas of advertising and media, PR and events, sponsorship and digital.
It is part of Lotto Sport Italy’s efforts to increase its web sales through e-commerce and to bolster its presence online and in social networks.
