The annual industry awards of the Business Honours Club are due to launch on February 8, with applications to be submitted no later than January 7.
The prestigious awards, which are recognised across schools, sport and communities, cover a variety of categories, including:
• Innovation with national impact.
• Working in partnership to support a specific need.
• Product/resource/service innovation.
• Going above and beyond.
Last year’s winners included residential expert PGL for its ongoing support in tailoring sites and courses to the multiple needs of young people; Skip2Bfit for its innovative and impactful work with young people; and Raise the Bar in recognition of the organisation’s commitment to supporting excellence in leadership in schools using sport as a catalyst.
Priority access is given to businesses within the Business Honours Club, however with 2012 being a year for sport the awards are open to any business.
Applications need to be emailed to natalie.hammond@youthsporttrust.org and will be judged independently by Youth Sport Trust, Youth Sport Direct, Loughborough University and strategic partners of all.
Winners will receive recognition and valuable opportunities to engage further with areas of the Youth Sport Trust’s work.
