Personal trainer Steels is a double world champion at both the sprint and standard distance and also a European silver medallist at the sprint distance.
In just ten month’s Steels went from nothing, to flying across the globe to represent Great Britain and bring home a gold medal as winner of the ladies’ 25-29 year-old age group at the International Triathlon Union World Sprint Championships in Adelaide, Australia.
For Steels the highlight of 2017 will be the World Championships in Canada in August, although she has a busy race calendar within the UK between now and then.
