talkSPORT announces sponsorship partners for exclusive Premier League coverage

talkSPORT, the world’s biggest sports radio station and global audio rights holders of the Premier League, has signed a portfolio of blue chip advertisers as sponsors of its exclusive Premier League coverage.

As one of two headline partners, on-demand TV provider NOW has credits and live reads in and around all Premier League commentaries. talkSPORT will also create exclusive match previews for NOW for all of its Premier League commentaries. The second headline partner, CarFinance 247, is a new client for talkSPORT, and this marks its first major partnership with the radio network. Both headline partners will leverage commercial integrations across talkSPORT’s portfolio of digital properties in addition to broadcast output.

Betfair has been announced as the weekend betting partner, with Ladbrokes covering weeknights from 7-10pm. Both brands have packages based around live odds pre- and in-game as well as live features with their spokesperson on air during the match build up.

talkSPORT’s airtime partners for its Premier League coverage include Village Hotels, Selco, Just Eat, On The Market, The Times and Asahi – these brands are the only spot advertisers around its Premier League commentaries for the whole of the 22/23 season.

In addition, as an official Radio Broadcaster of Qatar 2022, talkSPORT will be commentating on all 64 games in the first ever winter World Cup. After two tournament showings, talkSPORT will be following the England manager Gareth Southgate and his team to see if they can match the success of the Lionesses at Euro 22. Several commercial partners have already been secured and more opportunities are available.

In May, talkSPORT was awarded the three Premier League live radio broadcast rights packages for the next three football seasons – up to 2025 – to broadcast the Premier League live and exclusively to its three million listeners. The network will deliver live coverage of over 450 games in a season like never before.
