After a hiatus of four years, the Best Small Shops Competition is back.
Run by the All Party Parliamentary Small Shops Group and administered by the Independent Retailers Confederation, the contest is designed to bring small retailers to the attention of parliamentarians and the local community.
The winner will be selected based on a number of criteria, including innovation within the business, engagement with the community and entrepreneurial activities.
Applications must be submitted by 4pm on January 30.
Retailers that make the shortlist will be informed by February 16.
The awards reception takes place at the House of Commons on February 25.
Availability to attend the reception is a prerequisite of application.
Applicants must operate from a physical, business rated premises.
