A co-designed timepiece between pioneering outdoor brand Finisterre and trailblazing American watchmaker Timex, the Timex x Finisterre Tide Watch combines classic styling, recycled materials and the highest standards for design and durability for those who find solace at sea.
The first watch to carry the Finisterre name, the brand’s latest collaboration continues a long tradition of partnering with iconic brands to challenge fabric and material use. A secure and comfortable two-tone strap significantly made from an innovative yarn by #tide that’s sourced from 100% upcycled ocean-bound plastics.
Ready to embrace the elements and stand the test of time, the rugged body of the Timex x Finisterre Tide Watch is crafted from a solid casting of stainless steel and co-branded on both the caseback and the watch dial that’s dressed in nautical hues with orange accents.. A nod to the signals and lifesaving equipment commonly seen at sea, and a hallmark of many Finisterre collaborations to date.
Water resistant down to 200 meters, the watch’s defining feature is a unique tide tracking function that counts down to low or high tide; displayed by a blue hand placed where the second hand is usually found on the dial. A simple yet fail-safe mechanism that can be quickly and clearly referenced by anyone playing or working in areas affected by tidal patterns worldwide.
A one-of-a-kind sports watch, further features of the Timex x Finisterre Tide Watch include a date window with magnifier, scratch-resistant mineral glass and ‘Super Lumi-nova’ on the hands and hour markers that shine brightly to increase visibility in low-light conditions.
