Women in Sport, the charity responsible for driving change to gender equality for women and girls in sport, has continued its delivery of the Daughters & Dads campaign with support from Triple Double, the creative studio that unleashes how youth engage in sport and education, using the power of design and creativity to transform their lives.
Daughters & Dads Active and Empowered is a free physical activity and education programme for young girls (5-11) and their fathers/father-figures who want to be more active together. The project has been delivered in partnership with EFL Trust, Fatherhood Institute and University of Newcastle (Australia) through funding from Sport England and the National Lottery Fund. The award-winning programme is proven to support fathers/father-figures and their daughters to be more physically active, increase sports skill proficiencies in young girls and improve the quality of the father-daughter relationships.
As the project continued to expand, Women in Sport enlisted support from Triple Double to deliver 35x digital activity films, designed to demonstrate example activities and provide support to those who either can’t attend the physical sessions or to offer additional ideas for families at home. Handling full creative, production and post-production Triple Double have been delivering films to make activities feel more engaging.
Triple Double has an industry reputation for helping a wide variety of organisations including NGBs, brands, communities, schools, charities and youth groups, collectively reach the common goal of transforming young people’s lives for the future – using the power of design and creativity.
