Real Madrid has signed Uhlsport ambassador Diego Lopez (pictured) from Sevilla.
The goalkeeper rejoins the club at which he spent five years as a youth player between 2000-2005.
After just two appearances for Madrid’s senior team between 2005-2007, Lopez signed for Villareal, where he was first choice goalkeeper.
After Villareal was relegated from the Spanish first division in 2012, he moved to Sevilla.
Lopez was called up to the Spanish national team for the country’s 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign and was a part of the provisional squad for the 2009 Confederations Cup.
He made his international debut in a friendly against Macedonia, where he replaced Pepe Reina and kept a clean sheet for the 30 minutes he was on the pitch.
