UK Gear has signed a deal to become the official training shoe provider for the United States Air Force Academy.
Says David Hinde, founder of UK Gear: “We’re delighted to be working with the USAFA, an organisation that takes fitness seriously and will really put our training shoes to the test. It’s our ambition to be the brand of choice for the true fitness consumer, and now with the United States joining the British armed services wearing UK Gear we have made great steps forward in realising that goal.”
In 2002 UK Gear joined forces with the British army to create a training shoe suitable for soldiers. Four years later the company’s PT-03 and GT-02 training shoes bear the British army’s famous cross swords insignia and have become essential kit for over 100,000 soldiers worldwide.
