GET fit and active, is a message that is constantly being pushed out by health watchdogs but now major TV channel, ITV, is getting behind the Olympic legacy to encourage everyone to do just that.
On Saturday 27 August, ITV will make the unprecedented move of shutting down their channels for one hour in a move to signal to its viewers that time should be found for outdoor activities.
This event , also honours the return from RIO of the nation’s biggest sporting heroes from Team GB. The event is being coined as the nation’s biggest ever sports day – and you’re invited to take part!
Be one of those amazing people and take up the challenge by joining Up & Running for a FREE two-mile run/walk on Saturday morning at 9.30am – it may be the start of a new and healthier lifestyle.
The pace will be steady and no-one will get left behind. There will also be a free goody bag to get you started for everyone that takes part. If you don’t wish to take part in the run, you could still take advantage of our FREE training guides that could get you started on your fist steps to a fit and active lifestyle.
