Wilson Sporting Goods Co. hosted an exclusive event at the Uber Arena, Berlin, home of the Laver Cup, where tennis legendary player and Wilson Athlete, Roger Federer, showcased the new RF Collection by Wilson.
The over 100 attendees were treated to a private demonstration by Roger Federer. The iconic player put the newest Wilson RF Collection to the test on the Laver Cup Centre Court with two promising juniors. Guests were also allowed to ask the athlete questions about the collection in this intimate setting and create unique content at the site of this famous tennis competition. Exclusive insights into the design and performance features were provided by General Manager Wilson Racket Sports, Jason Collins and Wilson’s Global Product Director Racket Sports, Michael Schaeffer who were on hand to provide additional context.
The RF Collection is a revolutionary tennis equipment line inspired, designed and developed in partnership with Roger Federer. The collection is rooted in legacy, driven by performance and innovated for the future, representing Federer’s profound impact on the sport and his unwavering dedication to excellence.
“It was not an evolution but a revolution in my mind. I wanted to go to a lighter frame and make it easier to use and play with. It cuts through the air nicely to keep up the racket head speed, which is key for attacking but also to defend and hit some nice passing shots. I really like the frame a lot. This is actually the racket I would have hoped to win Wimbledon with”, explained Roger Federer.
