Walker (pictured) was the first Brit to complete the Oceans Seven challenge at the first attempt, which consists of swims across the North Channel, the Cook Strait, the Molokai Channel, the English Channel, the Catalina Channel, the Tsugaru Strait and the Strait of Gibraltar.
Of the appointment, David Annand, Zoggs UK marketing and PR manager, says: “When selecting an ambassador for open water and triathlon swimming, Adam was an obvious candidate.
“We have known Adam since the beginning of his swims and have happily provided him with the necessary kit to complete all seven oceans.
“He has an inspiring story to tell and will be a tremendous role model to all of those taking part in open water swimming.”
Walker will be on the Zoggs stands at the 220 Triathlon Show at Sandown Park, Surrey (February 27-March 1) and the Swim Expo at Event City in Manchester (March 20-22), where he will be demonstrating his swimming technique, coaching in an endless pool and helping to launch Zoggs’ latest swimming goggle.
