BGIA Has a Positive Harrogate Show
The British Golf Industry Association (BGIA) had a successful time at The Golf Show Harrogate from the 7th – 9th October 2014. The Golf Show is Europe’s leading golf trade and educational event, it was held at the Harrogate International Centre and open to the Professional Golf Association’s 6,000-plus members across the continent.
The show attracted the majority of the BGIA’s members who used it as a showcase to reveal their latest products, conduct forward buying and visit the Education Programme which provided an extensive range of conferences and seminars delivered by industry experts and high-profile guest speakers. During the show the Foremost Awards took place and once again BGIA Members cleaned up with Callaway, Footjoy, Motocaddy, Ping, TaylorMade and Titleiest taking all the equipment based awards.
The show was a great chance for the BGIA to catch up with its members and share ideas about growing the game of golf. With this in mind, National Golf Month 2015 was launched at the show on the BGIA stand. National Golf Month will take place for the second time in May 2015. It will offer free marketing and advertising opportunities to all partnering golf courses, driving ranges and PGA Members to reach over 23 million potential golfers.
