BodyPower is looking to pass 100,000 visitors for the first time in the event’s history to stake a claim as the premier fitness event in the world.
BodyPower UK 2016 saw 91,124 visitors pass through the doors at the NEC, Birmingham.
That was an increase of almost 12,000 visitors compared to 2015.
The exponential growth of BodyPower is as unrelenting as the house music that characterises the action-packed three days celebrating everything positive about the fitness industry, and the trend is set to continue.
BodyPower Expo is already recognised as the biggest indoor consumer fitness expo in the world.
The expansion of the show into six halls at the NEC in 2017 is credit to the diversification of the event and development of partnerships with the likes of British Weight Lifting, BNBF (British Natural Bodybuilding Federation), PCA (Physical Culture Association), Strongman Terry Hollands and many more.
The format of the show is settled. It’s a place of inspiration that caters for enthusiasts ranging from those dipping their toes into fitness to those who are fully submerged.
BodyPower is an action-packed, inspiring and motivational mix of the world’s biggest brands, athletes, live competitions, a comprehensive feature programme (with talks from the world’s finest athletes, trainers & coaches), and a visitor experience that always leaves people wanting more.
CEO Nick Orton, who founded BodyPower, said: “BodyPower seems to come around quicker and quicker each year and our excitement internally is just as ubiquitous as it was when we first launched. We try each year to deliver a show that ensures all participants, including athletes, visitors, speakers and exhibitors, have a unique, inspiring experience.
“We take on board all feedback in earnest and then go again the following year with the objective to be bigger and better than ever.
“We’ve consolidated and developed some of our existing feature areas, announced exciting new partnerships with the likes of the PCA who will host a PRO-AM British Qualifier competition, BNBF who will have a natural bodybuilding competition and our new BodyPower Model Search which we hope will be extremely popular.”
In addition, BodyPower has also announced plans to incorporate a dedicated trade hall, launched the co-located BodyPower Active show catering for a slightly different audience and has completely reformatted their ticketing to include a Standard, Black and Gold ticket for 2017 starting at just £25.
The UK’s flagship fitness event is certainly flying the flag as a staple event on the international fitness calendar and the avid fanbase will be eagerly anticipating the opening of BodyPower UK Expo 2017 from the 12th to 14th May 2017.
