The 401 Foundation are excited to announce that Asahi UK have nominated The 401 Foundation as their charity of the year for 2018. With donations already reaching into the thousands this is looking to be an extremely supportive partnership.
Charlotte Pinder, Head of Branding and Communications commented “We are over the moon to be supported by the extremely passionate team in Asahi UK. They have been wonderfully supportive of the work that The 401 Foundation does and are truly embracing the idea that getting out there and active can really have an impact on the mental health of everyone. One of their challenges during this period of support has been a Three Peaks Challenge in which 20 members of staff took to walking 24 miles (38.6km) and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent, in under-12 hours. We look forward to working with Asahi more this year and are thrilled at the support they show us”
Launched by the man who famously ran 401 marathons in 401 days, The 401 Foundation’s mission is simple. They passionately strive to help people build their confidence and self-esteem along with tackling mental health and self-development issues, by financially supporting local community projects and individuals directly.
