Elevate announces new ‘Studio Experience’ for 2018 Exhibition

As group exercise and fitness technology trends gather pace, Elevate has announced the launch of ‘The Studio Experience’, a new space for the 2018 exhibition which will feature a variety of live performances and demonstrations.

The Studio Experience powered by Hutchinson Technologies will showcase group exercise performances, virtual content and Hutchinson-t technology demonstrations providing inspiration for gym operators, educators and instructors. Demonstrations taking place include the likes of ((BOUNCE)), Aspire & Instructability, Boogie Bounce, Broga Yoga powered by FITBOXVIRTUAL, FLexercise, Les Mills, MYZONE, Pogo Pulse, Stages Flight and Ten Health & Fitness.

Hutchison-t will design the studio and deliver the full technical spec, including pro audio, video wall, automation technology and advanced Feature and FX lighting, giving attendees the chance to experience an end-to-end studio AV solution in action.

On Wednesday 9 May, the Studio will host a Cycle Showcase: Les Mills takeover. The Studio will be kitted out with the very latest AV, lighting and control tech by Hutchison-t, with state-of-the-art SC3 Series bikes provided courtesy of pro indoor cycling specialists Stages Cycling. Led by one of Les Mills’ master instructors, a troop of intrepid cyclists and Elevate delegate guests will be able to experience Les Mills’ hottest and most accessible new offering – a cinematic version of revolutionary indoor cycling concept THE TRIP, as well as a mini demo of the latest content from cult classic live group cycling class SPRINT.

Linzi Marshall, marketing manager at Hutchinson-t, said: “Elevate is all about pushing the boundaries of fitness and considering physical activity in new and exciting ways. The Studio Experience is the perfect forum for Hutchison-t to showcase how cutting-edge technology can transform a studio environment and turbocharge the group exercise experience.”

Max Quittenton, founder and director of Elevate, added: “The latest Sport England Active Lives Adult Survey revealed that 8.9 million people across the country now choose group exercise to stay fit and healthy. As group fitness becomes increasingly popular, and technology to enhance and differentiate the fitness offering develops, 2018 seems the perfect time to introduce a dedicated studio to the exhibition.”
