Thankfully we are all seeing many positive signs for the UK’s physical activity sector which is now in a far stronger position than it was pre-pandemic. Despite some short term challenges still remaining- with so many new, refurbished and reinvented facilities opening successfully- the long term future of gyms, physical therapy, leisure centres, sports clubs, studios and personal training programmes is brighter than ever before.
Unfortunately the delayed easing of the final stage of restrictions raised the level of uncertainty above a sensible threshold for running Elevate this September. As always, our priority is the success of our exhibitors and the value we bring to our visitors and delegates and this is our guiding principal behind this decision.
As event organisers, our role is to create a safe, successful and well thought-out event for the sectors we serve, and it is with this in mind we have decided to give the Physical Activity, Health and Performance Sectors time to regroup and recover fully before hosting the industry’s premier annual event again.
With our sights firmly fixed on a brighter future, we are delighted to announce Elevate will run on the 15th and 16th of June 2022 and we fully expect this edition to be the biggest and most successful Elevate to date. We can’t wait to open the doors to an enormously successful event for you and the rest of the UK’s Physical Activity, Health and Performance community next June.
There will be more details together with exciting new plans to follow in due course and we look forward to seeing you all soon!
Thank you for your support and understanding.
Kind regards,
Lucy Findlay
Event Director
