Important news about the postponement of Elevate 2020

A statement from the organisers of Elevate:
With NHS Nightingale at ExCeL London now open and treating patients, we are once again reminded of the effort the whole country is making to battle COVID-19 and it is not just our venue who is helping the effort.
Elevate would like to thank those exhibitors who have converted their production lines to help make valuable and lifesaving equipment and the gyms and health clubs who are offering their facilities to store supplies for the NHS and have donated their food and beverage supplies for frontline workers.
We also send our uppermost gratitude to a number of our speakers and attendees who are delivering medical care as they continue to work on the frontline – we cannot thank you enough.
Most recently ukactive have done a fantastic job of representing operators by directing governments attention to their most immediate challenge https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-52274496
While certain elements of all our businesses may be on pause, the physical activity sector is very much alive. Operators, personal trainers, physios, training providers, technology and equipment suppliers are all doing what they can to help raise fitness levels by supporting people at home.
With all this in mind Elevate needs to do its bit too. We work extremely hard with our partners and friends to bring everyone together to discover the latest innovations, network, learn and meet existing suppliers however the planned dates in June 2020 are no longer viable.
We are pleased to announce that Elevate and Elevate Therapy and Elite are now rescheduled to take place on the Sunday 11th and Monday 12th October 2020 at ExCeL London.
We understand this continues to be a very challenging and uncertain time and like every organisation we will continue to review and monitor the situation to ensure we are doing what is right for the sector as a whole.
With the new dates come exciting new opportunities. We are pleased to announce that Elevate 2020 will be co-located with both Professional Beauty and World Spa & Wellness Expo which will benefit our shared audiences such as the hotel and spa businesses. We are currently exploring other opportunities with fringe events and partners to ensure Elevate remains the UK’s leading event for the physical activity, therapy and elite sports sectors.
We look forward to seeing you all in October and speaking before then.
