Intersport Irish Triple
July’s been a successful month for Intersport on an Irish sponsorship front.
First came the Munster Senior Hurling Champs on Sunday 12th when Tipperary played Waterford in the final and became champions for the 41st time following a 0-21 to 0-16 decider at Tipp’s home in Thurles, Semple Stadium.
Not only that, but Tipperary minors also made it to the Munster Minor Hurling final and took to the pitch at Semple Stadium just prior to the seniors’ final against Limerick – and also won! With a three-point victory, Tipperary denied Limerick a third successive win at this level and gave Tipp a dual victory.
Following on from this fantastic double header for Intersport, the success story continued at the weekend as Mayo, also sponsored by Intersport and Intersport member Elverys, took to the turf for the Connacht final against Sligo, who they beat in impressive style with a 6-25 to 2-11 victory making it three out of three for Intersport.
