Latest exhibitors announced for The National Running Show Birmingham

The organisers of The National Running Show have announced the latest exhibitors for the event on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th January 2020 at Birmingham’s NEC.

Joining the award-winning show in its third year will be British Heart Foundation, Dogs Trust, Deaf Hub, Fitness Rewards, Bloomsbury Sport, Precision Hydration, ERDINGER Alkoholfrei, Tailwind, Pop Up Races, Lakes Campervan, Flapjackery, Riverford, LightupU, EventClips, eGlove and Eyepod.

With many runners using their efforts to raise money for charity, British Heart Foundation promises to be a welcome addition to the show. The charity funds life-saving research into all heart and circulatory diseases and their risk factors, making it an excellent fundraising option for those taking on races and challenges in 2020.

Dog welfare charity Dogs Trust offers another charity option for those wanting to put their running activities towards sponsoring one of 15,000 lost and abandoned dogs they care for each year. Meanwhile, Deaf Hub returns to the show as Official Sign Interpreters, enabling access to the wider community for deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people.

Life and health insurance experts Fitness Rewards will be showing runners how they can earn rewards for leading a healthy lifestyle, while any runner looking for inspiration through reading will find a fantastic range of books about Sport & Fitness at Bloomsbury Sport, who are sponsoring and exhibiting at the show.

Sweat experts Precision Hydration return to The National Running Show after a highly successful event last year. As leaders in the science of sport hydration, they will once more be sponsoring the Sweat Test Zone where visitors can take a free online sweat test and discuss the right hydration strategy for their running.

Many runners will be familiar with ERDINGER Alkoholfrei, the isotonic recovery drink of choice. Using only four natural ingredients, ERDINGER has a perfect balance of minerals and B-vitamins, making it an ideal way to recover and refuel after training or a big race.

Nutrition experts Tailwind promise to be equally popular among runners, their all-in-one race nutrition offering a perfect ratio of calories, electrolytes and hydration.

Ireland’s premier chip timing provider Pop Up Races will be there to chat to event organisers about their affordable chip timing and complete event management services, while Lakes Campervan offers a great solution for runners looking for an adventure by campervan.

Returning to The National Running Show to delight visitors is Devon-based Flapjackery, a producer of luxury, handmade flapjacks in a range of outstanding flavours. Another ideal choice for runners is Riverford Organic Farmers, who pick, pack and deliver the very best from their fields straight to your door in their iconic veg boxes.

LightupU brings its range of illuminated, wearable products for anyone exercising in the dark, with running accessories including heel lights, armband lights, waistbelts, beanie hats and more. EventClips bring their innovative snap-lock pinless fasteners as a handy safety pin replacement, and eGlove will be showcasing their range of performance and sport-specific smartphone gloves – including a new hi-vis version of their award-winning eGlove Sport Run Glove.

The final exhibitor in the latest line-up of names is sports glasses specialists Eyepod. Priding themselves on fashionable eyewear with clarity of vision in all light conditions, their glasses are ideal for all kinds of runners and sports enthusiasts.

The National Running Show is the UK’s biggest independent running show, offering runners the unique opportunity to try out and purchase the latest products and limited editions from big, well-known brands through to smaller brands not found anywhere else. The show expects more than 55,000 visitor ticket registrations for 2020, all of whom will be able to discover the latest kit, tech, nutrition and races from over 250 exhibitors, learn from inspiring speakers and improve their running technique thanks to the hands-on feature areas.

Mike Seaman, Director of Raccoon Events, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome this latest line-up of exhibitors to The National Running Show Birmingham, offering runners an outstanding range of products and choice as they make their decisions for the upcoming year of running.
