The STAG Buying Group is running its buying show In Ireland this month for the third successive year.
The show is a true buying show for the independent trade and will take place over two days on October 21-22 at The Tullamore Court Hotel.
The sell-out show brings STAG suppliers and members together for a unique opportunity to look at new ranges, take advantage of buying show offers, look at new brands and network in a relaxed, professional atmosphere.
As STAG’s business has grown in Ireland in recent years – membership is now over 100 – so has the reputation and need for a buying show.
Major sports, outdoor, shoe and corporate brands will again be exhibiting over the two days, including Canterbury, Puma, ASICS, New Balance, Pencarrie and Hi-Tec.
Mizuno will be exhibiting for the third consecutive year.
Rob Gregory, sales manager, explains the importance of the show to the brand: “The two day event is a must attend calendar date for Mizuno.
“We love the fact every person that walks into the show is a retailer that we can potentially do business with.
“The previous shows have been great successes for us and it’s helping us develop our business in Ireland as a whole.
“The chance to meet, greet and network should not be underestimated, as there are precious few chances these days.”
Gelert and Gola will be exhibiting for the first time this year and will join major Irish businesses such as Lee Sports, KTR and Daricia in pre-booking new ranges and offering special buying show deal packages.
Ward Robertson of STAG adds: “The development of our business in Ireland has been very pleasing indeed and we are very much looking forward to growing this even further over the next few years.
“The show is a key part of this plan.”
