Sports & Physical Education (PE) Association UK Reveals New Website

Sports & Physical Education (PE) Association UK has revealed their new website www.sportspe.org.uk. The attractive new design follows a similar format to that of other FSPA (Federation of Sports and Play) Associations.

New Features
New features include scrolling navigation, a twitter feed and the use of a digitally responsive platform so that when the website is visited by a small screen device the design alters to be more appropriate for the reduced screen size. It is the same content from the same source with only the design/layout changing.
More and more people are accessing websites from their mobile devices and so those associations that aren’t offering an easy to navigate website on a mobile device are ultimately losing visitors (members) who are time poor. Visitors simply won’t bother if they can’t easily get to information, fill out forms and select from menus. It is hoped that having a digitally responsive website will give SPE a much greater web presence.

SPE Brand
During a recent strategy review, it was decided that the association should change its name (formerly SAFEA) to ‘Sports & Physical Education (PE) UK – SPE’ to better support their goals and objectives. The new website is a good reflection of the SPE brand and show cases its members’ products.
Carol Scoggins, Association Manager said: “Our aim for the new website was to make it faster and easier to navigate for users. By making the website digitally responsive we are catering for more visitors by enabling them to access the information they are looking for.”
