Its AquaLight swimwear is the first ever collection of water repellent suits made specifically for fitness and recreational swimmers.
The new collection retains less water and dries six times faster than traditional fabrics, making the transition to life outside the pool markedly more comfortable and hassle free.
“Bringing comfort to swimmers in the water has always been Aqua Sphere’s commitment,” Martin Newton of Aqua Sphere UK says.
“Nevertheless, we saw a gap in the market for a product that also addressed swimmers’ comfort outside the pool.
“Swimmers deserve convenience and portability, as well as performance, and we believe we have now met those needs by incorporating advanced materials technology into some of our best-selling silhouettes, opening up the lifestyle advantages normally found only in swimsuits for elite and competitive athletes to recreational and everyday fitness swimmers.
“We are very proud of this achievement and believe it underscores our brand commitment to support the everyday swimmer with the best possible technological innovation.”
To create the AquaLight collection, Aqua Sphere’s R&D teams in the USA, Hong Kong and France developed a textile with a quick drying nano-technology enhanced mesh barrier, which enables the garment to shed water quickly after use.
The striking women’s Madline (pictured) and Madona one-pieces utilise classic silhouettes for wide ranging appeal and will retail for £34.99 SRP.
For girls, the Jade one-piece (ages 4-16) is £14.99 SRP and this, coupled with Rashguards for ages 2-12 at £14.99 SRP, are sure to make swim classes and beach time a little less hectic for parents on the go.
