SpringSummer 2018 is available in three customer groupings to make style selection easier than ever (Classic Lap Swimmer, Contemporary Lap Swimmer, Water Exerciser) with a focus on the latest resilient fabric technologies combined with outstanding fit and fashion detailing.
Understanding the different needs of female active swimmers, Aqua Sphere delivers a choice of high performance designs with various back and strap configurations, leg lengths and body coverage. Many women’s one pieces include Aqua Sphere’s Body Control System (BCS) technology which integrates clever bust support, tummy control and side shaping into the garment to provide a flattering silhouette for enhanced body confidence in and out of the water.
The brand even offers a choice of three different bust support options. Comfort is a key consideration and Aqua Sphere has also pioneered thermo-bonded straps across some designs for enhanced shoulder comfort and now even simpler strap adjustment and bra fastening, allowing women to achieve a completely secure customized fit quickly and easily. The brand also offers a very wide size range across the majority of its designs – i.e. women’s size 30 – 44 – so is a very inclusive brand.
REPREVE FABRIC TECHNOLOGY
Aqua Sphere was the first “active swim” brand to introduce Repreve eco-friendly fibre to its collection. Repreve is a global innovation made from recycled plastic bottles and, once transformed into Aqua Sphere swimwear, it offers superior chlorine resistance for long lasting performance in addition to a compelling environmental message.
Aqua Sphere introduced the first Repreve designs in 2017, with each garment having a distinctive green lining to underline its eco-friendly credentials and swing tags explaining how many plastic bottles were recycled for each garment ( six bottles for one women’s one piece swimsuit ).
The range is now extended for 2018 across women, mens and youths. New women’s one pieces which are ideal for the classic lap swimmer include NASTIA which integrates BCS and an adjustable customised fit with a stylish open back and athletic block colour design. It is joined by MAELYS, a universally flattering women’s one piece with slimming bands of colour plus BCS technology, and LINDY and GAYA, both beautifully simple one piece swimsuits with BCS.
For the active water exerciser, there are several new stand out silhouettes for women including ALINA with its slimming body control and rivers of colour down each side and the supportive body-flattering PAOLA which includes padded foam cups, tummy control and a body shape back with adjustable straps.
Aqua Sphere’s other eco conscious fabric technology is Vita which uses a sustainable yarn combined with Xtra life lycra for high chlorine resistance, outstanding strength, excellent shape retention for superior muscle control and superb body hugging fit. It also offers UV protection and high resistance to sun cream and oil.
For women, CINDY continues to provide a popular sporty one piece silhouette with durability and flexibility and a simple athletic cross back. The popular LITA again delivers good coverage, bust support and a high-comfort open back with clever flattering design and on-trend piping detailing and the visually striking SISKIN is ideal for the active water exerciser, offering bust support and tummy control alongside enhanced thermo bonded straps for optimal shoulder comfort.
For the contemporary lap swimmer, CARA delivers a striking design with its deep chine mesh insert in high impact contrasting colour whilst also including BCS and adjustable straps to maintain the highest levels of comfort and fit.
The highly chlorine resistant Aqua Infinity range (this renowned fabric can withstand an impressive 200+ hours in chlorinated water) includes the new women’s KIONY, ideal for the classic lap swimmer with BCS and fully adjustable back/bust straps for easy adjustability and freedom of movement and ZOLAN, an eye-catching one piece swimsuit with bold distinct cross body styling and BCS.
For Men, Aqua Sphere designs swimwear which combines great fit with sporty styling for the everyday swimmer and its collection includes briefs, jammers and boxers in a choice of Aqua Sphere’s proprietary fabrics.
Merlin boxers in Aqua Infinity are sure to be popular with their sporty athletic side detailing and, for the eco-aware, Repreve fabric technology is showcased in both Eliot briefs and Denzel jammers. For boys aged 4 – 16, the TRISTAN jammer in Aqua Infinity fabric has cool sporty appeal whilst the classic MILO boxer is manufactured in Repreve.
