England Ladies Keeper Telford Signs for Precision

Precision are delighted to announce Notts County Ladies and England goalkeeper Carly Telford as the latest goalkeeper to wear the Precision gloves.

Shotstopper Telford was ever present in the Notts County Ladies side that finished fifth in the 2015 Women’s Super League, as well as playing both in the FA Cup final against Chelsea, and the Continental Cup final against Arsenal during the same campaign.

The England international also travelled with the side to Canada during the summer for the 2015 World Cup as the number two goalkeeper, and was part of the squad that finished an impressive and inspiring third in the competition.

Telford is the second women’s goalkeeper to join the Precision team after Erin Nayler, and will be the first keeper to wear the brand new Precision Women’s Fusion glove.

Telford told Precision: “Working with Precision, they have actually gone one better than any other company that we have had involved in women’s goalkeeper gloves.

“We now have a glove that fits a women’s hand. Now I have the Precision Fusion X in the women’s range, it just fits so much better.

“It is tighter, it is neater. There is no excess baggage around the wrist, and around the hand. Those small adjustments make such a difference.”

She continued: “It is great to be working with Precision and knowing they are taking the women’s game seriously.”

Telford will wear her new gloves for all England international fixtures from November and will also be equipped with the Fusion X women’s glove for the 2016 Women’s Super League campaign as Notts County search for the title and look to go one better in the cup competitions and finish as winners of both the FA Cup and Continental Cup.
