At the heart of the Verglas three-layer system is Helly Hansen’s famous base layer, which is designed to move moisture away from the skin during high-energy activities to keep the body warm and dry. ???
The Verglas Hybrid Top has been constructed using a combination of HH Warm in the body and neck, combined with HH Dry technology to create a dual purpose mock turtleneck. A hollow fibre LIFA interior traps warmth and keeps the body dry, whilst soft merino wool provides additional warmth and a luxurious feel in cold conditions.

The 700-fill-power Verglas Down Insulator is a lightweight jacket that can be worn effectively as a mid layer or outerwear. Its construction allows it to be easily compressed, enabling it to be stuffed into a backpack when it’s not needed. Changes include a lighter-weight design and the inclusion of Helly Tech O2 – Helly Hansen’s highest grade of waterproof breathable protection.?
