Horncastle Cricket Club is taking to the pitch in style, thanks to a new eye-catching GFORCE kit from local supplier Gymphlex Ltd.
The fresh new kit is currently being sported by the first team, but plans are in place to roll out this contemporary image to all club members in the near future.

Horncastle Cricket Club has turned its fortunes around over the past seven years. With a dwindling and ageing membership, Horncastle launched a junior’s section that initiative proved so successful that the club is now 100-plus members strong, with four junior teams and three seniors.
With this young energy revitalising the club, it was important the new kit had a younger feel and would appeal to all club members.
Club development manager Tim Hannam explains: “Due to the limited lifespan of traditionally sponsored shirts, as a club we chose to move away from seeking sponsored shirts, instead facilitating club members by sourcing well priced, professional quality garments.
“Our members are now happy to take on the cost for their own kit and take individual responsibility for the ongoing care of the garment. This initial order to the first team was intended as a pilot scheme, and the response has been universally positive.
“The kit has been admired by both our players and the opposition, so I am confident that it will not be long before all club members take this new look on board.”
The Horncastle Cricket Club kit utilises the team’s bold colours of red and yellow, both on the cricket shirt and the complementary singlet.
