The decision has been made: the IOC has awarded the 2022 Winter Olympics to Beijing!
That is reason for us to celebrate as well. ISPO has been specifically promoting the wintersports business with its own trade fairs in China since 2005. The logical consequence of this development now is the award of the Winter Olympics to ISPO’s home city Beijing. We are proud of this decision and congratulate all Chinese wintersports fans.
We are firm believers in China as a wintersports country. Recent years have seen an incredible development there. Resorts are being developed with the accustomed professionalism, and the associated sporting disciplines targeted for promotion.
With ISPO BEIJING, that will take place from February 24 to 27, 2016 in conjunction with Alpitec China – a trade fair for wintersports’ technologies – we will be supporting the wintersports business in China in the run-up to the Olympic Games.
