Bjorn Borg presents SS16 Collection
Bjorn Borg is a Swedish sports fashion brand, creating fabulous sportswear, underwear, swimwear and socks designed to make you look and feel your best.
SS16 design inspiration comes from nomads – starting in the ancient populations who roamed the dry deserts and plains of the Earth, to the future human who will venture out in space.
The Björn Borg SS16 tennis collection celebrates the company’s heritage through a retro tennis inspiration interpreted in a new modern way with mesh detailing and glued seams on the women’s side. For him the offer includes retro tennis sweaters, shorts and polos in innovative functional materials, detailed with court line inspired lines.
Performance collection introduces an Arabic inspired street look in a dark colour palette. Adapted for high intensity workouts in desert heat, the styles are made with new construction techniques and Hydro Pro polyamide with a moisture wicking finish.
Performance underwear collection (underwear for high intensity workouts) is inspired by hot winds, burning sand and geometric patterns. Breathable, smooth and lightweight polyamide with graphical geometric prints combines both geometrical patterns inspired by nature and faded mosaic. The collection is complimented by sport bras and mini shorts with mesh and seam line details for her and polyamide long shorts in sand colours and oriental patterns for him.
Sporty elegance with clean lines, the Björn Borg swimwear collection for her is inspired from the earth, the ocean, and the sky. With nature and active lifestyle as sources of inspiration the result is feminine but sporty shapes in sheer mesh and mosaic patterns, detailed with thin T-back stripes. Key garments are a surf inspired high waist bikini and a swimsuit with see-through mesh back.
Modern gym inspired styles, printed with palm leaves and florals; Björn Borg’s SS16 collection for him presents swimwear for the nomadic life. The collection also includes sporty body-fitted swim shorts in smooth fabrics for ultimate comfort and easy movement.
