adidas has revealed details of the adiVERSE, a touchscreen virtual footwear wall it plans to utilise in stores next year.
Using state of the art real-time 3D rendered products, shoppers will be able to select shoes on a virtual shelf, look at them from any angle, rotate and zoom in, and read additional product and technology information on adidas’ full footwear range.
Consumers can then buy their chosen footwear either at the shop’s till or via a tablet-based checkout system and have them delivered to their home address.
