ASICS opens flagship store in London

ASICS has opened the doors of an innovative store on Europe’s busiest high street.

The biggest ASICS outlet in the world and the third to open in Europe, it’s located at 527 Oxford Street and is set over three floors and 7,000 sq ft.

It features advanced technological services and professional advice for runners, a running club and an extensive collection of footwear and apparel, including ASICS’ full running range, plus rugby, tennis, cricket, hockey and netball products.

The in-store running lab can measure customers’ foot shape, leg alignment, body composition, muscle strength and aerobic fitness.

Used to improve running ability, it’s the first time such a sophisticated biomechanical analysis system has been made available to UK consumers.

“With all eyes on London this summer, the new flagship ASICS store on Oxford Street will certainly act as the shop window to the rest of the world, reflecting our position as the true sports performance brand,” says Alistair Cameron, CEO of ASICS Europe.

“The store will allow us to offer unrivalled service, products and advice for consumers at a time where performance in sport is a key focus.

“Bringing cutting edge technology and facilities from our Research Institute in Kobé directly in-store will strengthen our unique customer loyalty and dedication to helping all levels of sports performers achieve their goals.”
