Liverpool are set to switch shirt suppliers from next season, moving from sporting giants Nike to their rivals Adidas. It has been reported that the new deal will be worth £50 million per year to the Merseyside club.
Adidas have signed a five-year deal with Liverpool in what will be their third spell as the club’s supplier. They provided the kits to the Reds between 1985-1996, and more recently between 2006-2012.
Big Change on The Pitch

The switch in kit suppliers will begin a new era at the club during the 2025/26 campaign, but Liverpool have also gone through a big period of change during the summer. Arne Slot took over from Jurgen Klopp as the club’s manager.
Slot is 9/2 in the football betting markets to win the Premier League title in his season at Anfield. The Dutchman has made an impressive start, with the highlight being his side’s 3-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Liverpool are one of the popular football betting tips to win the Premier League this season. They are likely to be competing with Manchester City and Arsenal, the two teams that finished above them in the 2023/24 campaign.
Boost in Finances Will Help Liverpool
The boost in finances from the Adidas deal is going to help Liverpool next season. They were a long way behind many of their rivals in terms of spending during the summer transfer window. Their only signing was Italian midfielder Federico Chiesa, who joined for £10 million from Juventus.
Liverpool reduced their squad size during the summer, with 12 players leaving the club. Thiago Alcantara retired following four years in the Premier League, while Adrian and Joel Matip both left on free transfers after long spells at Anfield.

Slot is likely to get the chance to strengthen his squad next summer. He has inherited a strong group of players, with Mo Salah, Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz a big part of their attack. Salah’s contract at the club does end next summer, so unless a deal is reached before then, the Dutchman may need to replace the Egyptian.
Champions League Change in Format Should Help Big Clubs
After finishing third last season in the Premier League, Liverpool are back in the UEFA Champions League this year. There is a change in the format in the latest renewal of the competition, with teams playing eight games in the opening group stage.
The extra fixtures will help boost the finances of the clubs involved in the premier European tournament. Liverpool have been drawn to face AC Milan, Bologna, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, Real Madrid, Girona, Lille and PSV Eindhoven.
Liverpool last won the Champions League in 2019. They finished runners-up in 2022 when they lost to Real Madrid in the final. The six-time European Cup winners will be hoping to be involved in this season’s final which will take place in Munich in May.
A sneak preview of next season’s Liverpool kit is likely to arrive in spring, with full details of the release date set to come through the club’s official channels.
