Pentland Group announces year-end results

Total revenue for the brand management and retail group increased 10 per cent to £1.9 billion in 2013.

Pre-tax profit was up 36 per cent to £85 million.

Revenue for JD Sports, in which Pentland is the majority shareholder, rose nine per cent to £1.3 billion, while revenue from Pentland Brands and other non-retail businesses jumped 11 per cent to £590 million, fuelled by record revenues from Speedo, Lacoste Chaussures and Ted Baker footwear.
