Shaun Edwards, head coach of Wasps and a member of Wales’ and the touring British Lions’ 2009 coaching teams, is to endorse Mueller products throughout the 2008/09 season and beyond.
Says Greg Soffe, brand manager at 1000 Mile Sportswear, Mueller’s UK distributor: “The Mueller brand is associated with premium products used at the highest level of sport to prevent injury and to aid and improve athletic performance. The synergy between Shaun and Mueller is excellent – Shaun needs to look after his players’ muscles and joints and keep them in the game, which is just what Mueller products are designed to do.”
Edwards’ image will be used by Mueller in its POS, advertising and PR campaigns.
