The deal between the not-for-profit healthcare organisation and mass participation events company lasts for two years.
Human Race organises around 50 triathlon, cycling, running and swimming events, including the Dragon Ride, Windsor Triathlon and Cancer Research UK Winter Run series.
From registration through to training and post-event recovery, Nuffield Health will share its vast knowledge with participants via its range of health and wellbeing experts such as personal trainers, physiotherapists, nutritionists and physiologists.
Experts from the organisation will also be present at race day events, supporting not only participants but also those who come along to cheer on family and friends.
In addition, Nuffield Health will be title sponsor of two events – the Nuffield Health Eton SuperSprints and the Nuffield Health Kingston Run Challenge.
Sandy Case, new business director at Human Race, says: “Our participants take their health and fitness training seriously and due to the nature of their activities they often require physiotherapy services for the inevitable aches and pains that can crop up during training and competition.
“The support that can be offered in this area, alongside the thirst for nutritional advice we know exists within our community, meant Nuffield Health was an ideal partner for us and we are thrilled to be working together.”
