The Running Awards 2015 and Pic2Go team up for exclusive social media photo experience in April
It has been announced that Pic2Go UK Ltd and The Running Awards have teamed up to bring social media image technology to the awards ceremony, which takes place at indigo at The O2 in London on Friday 24th April.
The Patent Pending Pic2Go Technology offers instant publishing of event photos through social media. The technology application at The Running Awards 2015 will be the first time this is put into action at an awards event in the UK.
Every guest at The Running Awards will be picking up a pass on entry carrying a unique Pic2Go 2D barcode. The Pic2Go system will automatically recognise the Pic2Go barcodes whilst photos are being taken during the evening and immediately generate free individual customised and branded albums for all registered guests in the images, ensuring a wide and real-time social media reach during the awards.
The Running Awards is the only independent annual awards ceremony recognising and celebrating the best of running and its culture, with runners and consumers currently nominating and voting for their favourite products, brands, publications, sports retailers and events. The winners will be announced and presented with their awards at the ‘big and bold’ evening awards ceremony at indigo at The O2 next April, in front of industry guests, media and the general public. Voting is free, quick and very simple, the only details required are a name and email address.
The Running Awards is organised by Reality Ltd who specialise in designing, staging and producing a wide variety of live events across a diverse range of industries, from awards and conferences to music and red carpet events.
