TheMagicTouch took the Best in New Technology award for its latest digital image transfer innovation at the Trophex event at Birmingham NEC.
The new ORD 8.1 (Opaque Reverse Decoration) transfer paper offers the opportunity to easily and quickly decorate a comprehensive range of glass and acrylic-based products in full colour.
Using a traditional transfer heat press, the laser printed ORD 8.1 transfer paper images are applied and fixed to the base of glass or acrylic, taking less than one minute to apply and costing less than 50p per item.
The image is then trimmed and can be prepped up for a high class look and feel with an optional finish effect using a self adhesive black flock material on the back of the product.
Decorated glass and acrylic has massive potential within the awards, sign, trophy and photo gift markets, especially when featuring full-colour photographic images that are both colour accurate and UV stable.
The ORD 8.1 is boxed as 50 sheets and available in A4 format. Each box contains sponge applicators and full processing instructions.
