Scotty “2 Hotty” Waites Continues Winmau Sponsorship
Winmau, the world’s leading darts brand, have announced that their contract with World Champion Scott Waites will continue for a further 3 years.
The 2013 Lakeside World Champion is battling back to form following a shoulder operation, and the early signs are good. Scott reached the final of the Hal Open, which boasted a world-class field of players.
Scott said: “It’s been a tough few months for me, and my shoulder is still not quite right. However, I proved at the Hal Open that I can play a day of competitive darts at the highest level, but sadly the final was just a stretch too far this soon after the operation. I am working hard to get back to my best, and I’m sure I’ve got a few more World titles in me yet!”
