
Aqua Sphere has announced a 20 per cent increase in turnover for 2009.
The swimming brand says it’s continuing to build its profile across the swim and triathlon markets and is the goggle brand of choice for an increasing number of retailers.
This year Aqua Sphere launched the Kayenne goggle, which provides outstanding up-down vision as well as the company’s signature wide-angle peripheral view.
The brand also enhanced its position in the triathlon market with the launch of ‘Ironman Powered by Aqua Sphere’ wetsuits, which have been widely acclaimed by leading athletes and the media.
The company says its debut TV advertising campaign on Eurosport has paid dividends, helping, says Aqua Sphere, to raise the brand name’s profile with the public.
Other mainstream marketing campaigns embarked on in 2009 include the supply of a quantity of goggles and masks for the ninth series of the award-winning ITV Productions programme I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
