Mitre is gearing up to launch a new Shane Warne website at www.mitre-shanewarne.com
The site, which will be active towards the middle of this month, will act as a launch pad for the SKW23 Club, the new Mitre Junior Membership Scheme that provides coaching tips, video footage of Warne’s best wickets, competitions, news and gossip from the man himself. Visitors will also be able to view the Shane Warne signature collection on the ‘Kit’ page.
‘Cricket Insider’ will keep users up to date on Warne’s performance in the Ashes, while the ‘Play’ area will contain a live Shane Warne quiz, a new Mitre cricket game developed especially for the site, a link to the online game ‘Stick Cricket’ and an opportunity to register for free mobile downloads during the Ashes.
SKW23 Club members receive an introductory pack that includes a Spin King t-shirt, a swing ball designed to help young bowlers develop their spin action and a club membership card.
