STAG expands in Ireland

In the past six weeks 12 new businesses in Ireland have joined The STAG Buying Group – bringing the total number of STAG members in Ireland to 36.

Says Ward Robertson, managing director of STAG: “The reaction to STAG from retailers in Ireland has been first class, the business reasons to join the group have been well received and many well-established businesses have already joined.”

The businesses that have joined include Emerald Alpine, Limerick; Fanatics, Cobh; MK Sports, Clonmel; John Kent, Sligo; Ballyshannon Shoes, Ballyshannon; Colgan Sports, Portarlington; McCartan Sports, Downpatrick; McCartan Shoes, Downpatrick; Declan Power Sports, Loughrea; Eurosports, Lisburn; Ned Buggy Sports, Wexford; and Sports Warehouse, Ballinasloe.

Says Aidan Colgan, owner of Colgan Sports & Golf: “I am very pleased to join the STAG Buying Group. No right-minded business person in the sports industry can ignore the excellent supplier discounts.”
