West Ham to wear Umbro kit from next season

The Premier League club has signed a five-year deal with the brand, which will replace adidas, starting from the 2015/16 season – its last season at the Boleyn Ground before the London team moves to its new 54,000 seater stadium.

Paul Nugent, vice president of global marketing for Umbro, says: “This is a special period in the club’s history and we are delighted to be part of it.

“We know the last season at the Boleyn Ground will be an emotional one and we worked closely with the club during the design process to create a memorable set of kits to commemorate the final season.”

The Hammers last wore Umbro kit during the 1960s.
