Xendurance welcomes Cesca Baguley as European Marketing and Strategy Manager

Cesca Baguley has joined Global sports nutrition brand Xendurance as European Marketing and Strategy Manager.

Cesca will be responsible for the company’s social media and marketing across Europe, as well as looking after its sponsored athletes and specialist training events primarily in cycling, running, triathlon and CrossFit.
Jim Peskett, Xendurance Europe’s general manager, said: “Not only does Cesca have an outstanding business background but she is also an elite athlete with a personal interest in health and wellbeing. Her qualifications, skills, experience and passion for sport make her the perfect fit for Xendurance.”

Cesca is a BA and an MBA graduate with six years’ experience in change management and project management. As a senior project manager at Sky within Change Delivery, she focused on the delivery of a highly complex, multi-million-pound regulatory change project. During four years with EY she was a manager in People Advisory Services and specialised in large-scale transformations, change management and organisational design across a number of sectors including global pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, local government, policing, consumer products, media and financial services.

A competitive swimmer from an early age, Cesca moved into ultra-marathon running and then discovered weights, bodybuilding and eventually CrossFit. She is a level 3 qualified personal trainer and started an online coaching company while working full time. Cesca has also taught and coached children with additional needs as a swimming teacher with Special Olympics.

Cesca said: “This aligns with everything I am passionate about. It took me many years to figure out how to look after my body properly. I’ve done it the wrong way and I’ve seen other people do it the wrong way – but I started using the Xendurance product and realised that it actually works. I see working for the company as an incredible opportunity to use my skills to help athletes make both physical and mental improvements.”

After six months working with Xendurance as an independent consultant, Cesca started in her new role at the beginning of January 2020.
